Know what's true while they're still talking.
Faktum listens to any live conversation and quietly checks every claim against verified sources — handing you the facts, the fallacies, and the counterargument before your turn to speak. In 26 languages.

“Our churn is the lowest in the industry.”
“GDPR fines can reach 4% of global turnover.”
The problem
Confidence travels faster than truth.
In any live conversation, the most assertive claim wins the room — and you can't pause real life to look it up. By the time you've checked, the moment is gone.
In the boardroom
"Our churn is the lowest in the industry."
You suspect it isn't. But suspicion isn't an argument — a source is.
In the debate
"Nobody is saying that. You're imagining it."
They said it eight minutes ago. Goalposts move fastest when no one keeps the record.
In the lecture hall
"Studies show this works in 90% of cases."
Which studies? On what sample? The question only counts if you ask it now.
How it works
Three things happen in the seconds after a claim is made.
01
It hears the claim
Faktum runs quietly in the background and separates checkable claims from opinion, in 26 languages. No tapping, no prompting — it finds the facts in the stream.
02
It checks the record
Each claim is cross-referenced against web sources and primary documents, and returns with a verdict and a citation — not a vibe.
03
It arms your reply
Where it matters, you get a structured counterpoint — and a flag when the rhetoric turns to fallacy, gaslighting, or moving goalposts.
The record agrees. Build on it with confidence.

Sources disagree. Ask which one they're using.
"Remote teams are less productive" — findings split by study design
The record disagrees. Here is the citation to say so.
"Revenue doubled last year" — filings show +38%
The sharpest reply available, structured and sourced.
"Ask which cohort the churn figure covers — it excludes year one."
Privacy, before you ask
A fact checker you don't have to fact-check.
An app that listens earns trust by design, not by promise. These are the rules Faktum is built on — all three are verifiable in the app itself.
✓Never stored
Audio is analyzed live and discarded server-side. There is no recording archive to leak, subpoena, or resell — nothing is kept unless you save a summary.
✓Never hidden
A red indicator is visible on screen every second Faktum listens. Recording-consent laws differ by country, and the app reminds you to inform participants.
✓Never resold
All processing is GDPR-compliant and encrypted in transit. Your conversations train no models and feed no ad profiles. You are the customer, not the product.
Who keeps it running
The quiet advantage, in their words.
"A supplier quoted a 'standard industry markup' in a negotiation. Faktum flagged it as contested with the actual range. That one screen paid for a decade of subscription."
Procurement lead
"I coach a university debate team. We run practice rounds with Faktum on the table — the fallacy flags teach faster than I do."
Debate coach
"I stopped arguing from memory. When the verdict says contradicted, I just read the citation out loud. Calmest I've ever been in a meeting."

Fair questions.
What is Faktum?+
Faktum is an iPhone app that fact-checks live conversations. It listens in the background, detects checkable claims, verifies them against web sources in real time, and shows a verdict — Supported, Contested, Contradicted, or a Counterpoint — with citations. It works in 26 languages and never stores audio.
How much does Faktum cost?+
The free tier includes unlimited recording and 1 fact-checked hour per month. Faktum Pro is €14.99/month or €149.99/year (about €12.50/month) with 20 fact-checked hours per month, up to 4 hours per day. New users get 7 days of Pro free — no card required.
What counts as a fact-checked hour?+
An hour of live listening with transcription and fact-checking running. Recording and playback never count against the allowance on any plan. When your hours are used up, recording continues — only live checking pauses until the next month.
How accurate are the verdicts?+
Every verdict carries its sources — Faktum shows its work so you can judge the evidence yourself. When the record is genuinely unsettled, it says contested rather than guessing. An honest "contested" is worth more than a confident error.
Is it legal to use in meetings?+
Laws on recording and consent differ by country and state, and informing participants is your responsibility. Faktum keeps you on the right side of that line by design: a visible indicator whenever it listens, no stored audio, and a consent reminder before your first session.
Will people know I'm using it?+
Faktum runs silently on your screen — no sounds, no interruptions, nothing projected. What others notice is the result: you asking the precise question, with the citation ready.
What happens to my audio?+
It is encrypted in transit, transcribed on secure servers, analyzed live, and discarded. Nothing is stored unless you choose to save a session summary — and summaries contain text, not audio. All processing is GDPR-compliant.
Does it work for podcasts and broadcasts?+
Yes — anything your device can hear, Faktum can check: debates on TV, lectures, podcasts, earnings calls. Many users run it as a second screen while watching the news.
